Mr. BoF and I are going to Cancun tomorrow. I was dying to go away while preparing for the wedding, but now I’d rather stay at home.

I’ve been replaying the wedding in my head a bit. It was a blur, like they say, but not much more of a blur than any other regular day. Our friends threw us an after party, which seemed unnecessary, but was a lot of fun. It was good to have some more time to actually sit and talk to people.

I didn’t let my mom go.

and I smoked way too much.

I should be asleep right now but I keep refreshing Flickr & Facebook, hoping that someone will post some photos. I completely forgot to do angle my body, straighten my shoulders, etc etc follow any of the advice on how to look good in photos.

Mr. BoF has offered to help take the gift bags to the hotel but I don’t trust him to not crush everything.

Also, he still has to get groomsmen gifts and a haircut.

Also, now we are having an after-party.

And my mom thinks I’m going to wear a tiara. WTF??? Or more like, she knew that I wasn’t going to wear a tiara so she brought it up at the last minute.

I know I should eat something but it’s just so damn muggy and there is all this stuff to do, I don’t even know what I would order.

Like my aunt or uncle or cousin. 

This is genius. She doesn’t even have to drink that much, she has zero tolerance. Ok, maybe she’s allergic, but whatever, maybe she’ll go take a nap.

Esp. after the line: “Speak now or forever hold your peace”. there should be howling wind and thunder.

It took a lot of arguing with Mr. BoF, who said that only white shirts go with dark suits.

Today I got an email from my brother asking, 

Also, should both the shirt and tie be blue?  (my shirt is dark/electric blue.)

Why does my family pretend to ask? They just do whatever they feel like doing!

I still think that wedding festivities are excessive though.

What are you supposed to wear to a rehearsal dinner?
Jesus I hate this.

Hopefully they will be there tomorrow so we can do a test centerpiece. Maybe the vase won’t look so huge…

The wedding is in 15 days!!!

I should be finishing up the program/menu/table card/etc designs but instead I am reading people’s feelings on pubes & trimming. People have very strong feelings.

Also, I can’t go into DSW to look for gold flats anymore. I just have to accept that they don’t have them and look elsewhere.

I had all these terrible terribly funny ideas but I can’t remember them anymore.

One thing that is actually happening, our first dance is going to be “Perhaps perhaps, perhaps” by Cake! har-har-har

Before I was worried about whether the centerpiece would be too small for the table. It seems plenty big now… The flowers are going to look so tiny. Fk. Why didn’t I buy a vase to test out first?

Oh yeah, I thought I was being indecisive. And that there wasn’t enough time for trial-and-error.

Also, the vases are dirty and aren’t very well made. The edge is rather rough and there are irregularities, like bubbles, in the glass.

I also ordered several narrower vases, to set with the seating cards. Those are much nicer for some reason… I wish saveoncrafts.com had larger photos with more detail on their website. They are very good at packing things though. Nothing was broken!
